Hello everyone i apologize for not making a post in so long, but i have been doing a lot of research on other video game testing companies. I have found two others that have done what they have said they would do. The first that i am going to talk about today is Only4Gamers.

As for price of Only4Gamers, they are actually a couple of dollars cheaper than Elite Game Tester, if you are really looking to save some money. They are a good value for the dollar. They do not act quite as quick as Elite Game Tester, but you know what they say you get what you pay for.

As for quality of Only4Gamers… They have a good amount of resources to help you get jobs, and also they have a lot of companies offering jobs. The grand total is not quite as high as you would see at Elite Game Tester, but honestly you do not need every company anyways. After you find a good couple that you can use, you should be alright. You just need to make sure that you harder than every other video game tester.

If you would like a full review of Only4Gamers check out http://gametestersreviewed.com/only-4-gamers.

Today i just wanted to talk about a few of the reasons to become  video game tester. I think that these three reasons are really why most people choose to do so.

Number One- The free video games of course! This is one of the forgotten gems that people do not even think about when they become a video game tester. But it is one of the reasons that i signed up. I mean before i was spending cose to 200 dollars per month on video games. As you can imagine that started to add up pretty quick. I googled get free video games, and every single site that i looked at was a scam(i will talk more about this sometime this week). I then learned about just testing free video games that have not even came out yet, and i decided to give it a try.

Number Two- Getting paid to play video games. Honestly i do not think that i have to talk about this too much, it pretty much speaks for itself. Even if you do have to look for bugs and things like that, i usually look for bugs in games already, so it was not a huge change for me.

Number Three- This the one that most people do not even think of: using video game testing to get a job video game designing. To get hired at these places you need experience and this is the easiest and the fast way to do that. Here in the next couple of days i will have a separate post  just to explain this in more detail.

Video Game Testing Jobs: Having one of these is the greatest thing in the world. Well maybe not that great, but i am sure that you get the idea.

You see having a video game testing  job for anybody, but i would probably say that it is themost helpful for younger individuals. Now older people can still qualify for all of the great benifits that comes with being  video game tester, but as you start to get older the salary of  just testing the video games is not going to cut it. You need to start designing the video games, but we will get into that on another day!

Right now the most important thing for you to do is concentrate on those small low paid jobs that you are starting to get. (This is through Elite Game Tester, if you are new to my blog and do not really know exactly how to become a video game tester. Just click here to go ahead and sign up to become a video game tester, or if you would like more information about how to become a video game tester just check out this page on my blog: http://myplayvideogames.wordpress.com/2009/02/07/how-to-become-a-video-game-tester/ ) Anyways yeah when you start getting those low paying jbs, make sure you really do your best because that is when companies begin to weed out the people that they do not think are going to work hard enough.

Jobs Video Game Tester

Hi, so i have been sitting at my house over the last couple of days, and i have been getting an email or two a day that i thought i should just go ahead and make a small post about. The email has been saying so i have signed up for Elite Game  Tester, and everything looks good, but there is so much information, what should i do now?

Maybe some of you reading this article are having the same problem right now. I honestly would just say to wait a couple of weeks or so. There really is not a whole lot that you can do at first. I think most of you know that, so i do not mean to just repeat things that you already know. I just think that at first that is the best thing for you to do.

After you have waited a couple of weeks, if you still have not gotten your first job, you should probably email, or even call these companies letting them know who you are. Tell them that you want this job and that you are willing to work hard. You re not just using this as a form of entertainment, but an actual career (even if that is not true, say it).

Now for the people beginning to get their first jobs, do not waste them. Whatever you do, do not slack off on your first job. If you slack off on your first job, how do you expect them to give you another. First impressions go a long way in this business. Let them know that you are for real. Do not just let your words do the taking, but also how well you do in checking for bugs and critiquing the game. I hope that that answers anyones questions that they may have about jobs-video game tester. If you do have any more questions feel free to email me a bloggin1126@gmail.com . I will be sure to get back to you by the next day.

What Is a Video Game Tester?

Hello now that everyone knows some of the key basics of how to become a video game tester, i think the right thing to do would be to explain the question: What is a video game tester?  If you already know the answer to this question no need to read on just check out how to actually become a video game tester http://myplayvideogames.wordpress.com/2009/02/07/how-to-become-a-video-game-tester/ . If not make sure you keep reading.

Most of what a video game tester is really is common sense. I mean obviously you are going to be playing a lot of video games on a regular basis. So if you do not like to play video games, this is not the right job for you i can tell you that right now.

That is the obvious part, but the thing that mot people do not know is what you are going to have to be doing while you play these video games. Most people think that all you have to do is play a video game, then call and say whether you like the video game that you are playing or not. This actually is not the case. You are really searching the game for bugs and glitches. This could mean that you might have to play one level two or three times. But hey i would rather play a level on a video game one or two times, than have a job that i am actually going to have to do some work right. It is not a whole lot of hard work, but it can at times become boring. You might start to get tired of it, then you will get that paycheck and you will begin to love it again.

So yeah that is really your main job, just looking for bugs. You might have to write some tips for making the game better, and do small things like that. But the majority of your job will just be playing the video game.

Now that you know what a video game tester is, it is time to start doing it. Go ahead and read how to become a video game tester, but do not stop there and do not just trust my opinion. Check out some of the other websites that i recommend.

If you would like to go ahead and sign up to start making some money today, just click here, and you are on your way.

how to become a video game tester

Welcome to my new blog! I am making this new webpage to tell the world about this really cool way to find money. I have been using this as my main stream of income for quite some time now. I am currently just an average college student that does not really have the time for a real job, so i do what i can to make a little bit of cash on the side. No one that has not read this title would have no clue what i am talking about. But since most likely you have read the title you already know! I am talking about video game testing and on this blog i will be teaching everyone how to become a video game tester. It is not going to be the job that will feed a family of 12 and still have enough left over to go buy that dodge viper that you want, but not bad money for only playing games! I will come back tomorow and really explain to everyone what a video game tester is. But for right now i am only going to teach you how to become a video game tester.

There is probably two different ways to start out in your journey of becoming a game tester. One way is longer, but the other way will cost you a couple of dollars to start.

I will talk about the long way first. What you could do if you just have no money and all of the time in the world is make as many contacts as possible. By as fast as possible i mean, if you get enough contacts within three months you have done pretty well. You really need to call and email every single company that makes/designs video games. if you talk to enough companies you might be able to start getting video game testing  jobs. After you get your first job or two with this method, if you did a well enough job of critiquing the game, you should be good from then, and begingetting more and more jobs. You should be all setup and ready to go within three to four months, which is not a real long ways away, but it sure as heck is not soon.

The alternative to this tedious experience is only signing up for company that will instantly do all of this for you. I think it costs around 40 dollars for a two year subscription. That is more than a couple of dollars, but honestly it is not a whole lot of money for the time that it saves you. In this business time really is money. I would recommend to just sign up for the company that does the hard part for you, but it is not an obligation, you can be a video game tester on your own. The only difference would be you could not make money for a few months so really signing up right now would save you money in the long run. If you would like to go ahead and check out one ligit company that i have found called Elite Game Tester go ahead and click here!

I will be back tomorow to explain what all the video game tester jobs entails.
