Jobs Video Game Tester
Hi, so i have been sitting at my house over the last couple of days, and i have been getting an email or two a day that i thought i should just go ahead and make a small post about. The email has been saying so i have signed up for Elite Game Tester, and everything looks good, but there is so much information, what should i do now?
Maybe some of you reading this article are having the same problem right now. I honestly would just say to wait a couple of weeks or so. There really is not a whole lot that you can do at first. I think most of you know that, so i do not mean to just repeat things that you already know. I just think that at first that is the best thing for you to do.
After you have waited a couple of weeks, if you still have not gotten your first job, you should probably email, or even call these companies letting them know who you are. Tell them that you want this job and that you are willing to work hard. You re not just using this as a form of entertainment, but an actual career (even if that is not true, say it).
Now for the people beginning to get their first jobs, do not waste them. Whatever you do, do not slack off on your first job. If you slack off on your first job, how do you expect them to give you another. First impressions go a long way in this business. Let them know that you are for real. Do not just let your words do the taking, but also how well you do in checking for bugs and critiquing the game.
